The Yellow Bus 2-in-1 ticket was an excellent way to see Funchal in just one day. The routes covered all the main highlights, from the old town to the coastal viewpoints. The buses were clean, comfortable, and arrived on time.

We booked the 24‑hour hop‑on hop‑off and ended up doing it twice in one day (morning + late afternoon) to catch different lighting for photos. The route to Câmara de Lobos was a highlight — the village was charming and not too touristy. Recommended for a first‑day outing.

Great introduction to Madeira. The Yellow Bus tour let us jump on at the marina stop in Funchal, ride out to Câmara de Lobos, explore at our leisure, then return. Having the flexibility to ride as much as we wanted within 24 hours felt liberating. The audio commentary and the occasional bonus stops added value. We’ll use it again next trip.

Fantastic experience! The open-top bus gave us amazing views of the city and coastline. The commentary was informative without being boring, and the route hit all the main attractions. A great way to get your bearings in Madeira.

What stood out: the audio guide in multiple languages made the ride informative, and the route up to the hillside viewpoint was spectacular. The downside: the top deck gets quite hot in midday sun so bring sunblock and a hat. Otherwise, a very worthy tour.

This was the perfect mix of convenience and sightseeing. We were able to get off near the farmers’ market, explore for a bit, then ride up to the hills for some incredible views over Funchal. Loved it!

One tip: start early. We caught the first bus around 9:30 am, got ahead of crowds, and used the pass to return later when things were quieter. The Yellow Bus route covered just the right mix of city + coast + hillside for our one‑day stay. Friendly drivers, too.
