Alvaro Freitas is an excellent tour guide, who gave us lots of information and history about island, fauna and flora, whilst pointing our the breathtaking views but above all ensured our safety. It was a good and easy way to explore the island. Easy to fold and stowaway in the car and very easy to unfold and use it on the spot. Also due to the many ramps there are on Madeira, to makes the island accessible for everyone. It was a great help for us.

Travelling with our two children, the open‑top deck of the Yellow Bus was fun, and we appreciated that the bus route took us up into the hills around Funchal with sweeping views of coast and cliffs. It gave us time to explore without stressing about how to get back.

Sergio was an excellent guide and provided interesting commentary. This levada path is relatively easy and flat but narrow as expected. Nonetheless, an amazing experience for those looking for a simple levada to start with.

If you want to see Funchal from the best vantage point, the cable car is a must. The panoramic views of the city, gardens, and coastline are unforgettable.

The captain knew exactly where to position the boat for the best 360º view of the show. We had a toast at midnight and enjoyed the vibe. Just remember to wear a warm jacket because of the wind, but it’s totally worth it!
