The walk was just what we were looking for, to see other areas of the island .
What we didnt expect was for our guide to be so knowledgeable and to obviously enjoy telling us about the area . He had an excellent sense of humour while giving us the information we wanted.

Una ruta preciosa, pensábamos que habiendo hecho dos días antes otra levada no nos iba a sorprender y todo lo contrario. Gracias a nuestra guía Ana, nos contó mil cosas, e hizo que el final de la ruta fuese brutal con un cambio de camino. Totalmente recomendable.

I can really recommend the cook experience with Luisa to everybody, who is interested in Madeiran kitchen and who likes to learn anything about culture, food and specialities of Madeira. In the beginning of the course, Luisa showed us the market place, explained in detail the fruits, vegetables and herbs/spices. We were able to experience all the specialites, by tasting, or experience by nose. I learned so many & I was totally embarassed. Afterwards, we bought the fish for our dish and went back to the kitchen for cooking a perfect menue. Tks
