Madeira Atlantic Festival

The Madeira Atlantic Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year. Each year, during the month of June, every Saturday evening is filled with excitement in anticipation for the Fireworks show that starts at 22:30.

The Festival Programme is different every year. But you can count on fun nights filled with music and some of the best food and drinks in Madeira.

The Atlantic Festival pits countries against each other to find out who can put on the best show. At the end of the month, a winner is selected.

Many options are available, you can watch the show from the Praça do Povo, right at the edge of the southern coast of Funchal. However, the best fireworks show in Madeira
is without a doubt aboard a boat or catamaran! The ocean will give you a privileged view of the bay area, where the fireworks are shot into the sky.
