Paúl da Serra is the only high plateau on Madeira. Our tour begins at Lombo do Mouro (1515m). Here we have fantastic views of the valleys of Ribeira Brava and São Vicente, and towards the central massive. We bike under laurel trees that are several hundred years old. We end the tour with the descent to Ribeira de Janela. On a short detour our bus brings us to Porto Moniz, where a dip in the natural swimming pools is possible.
