As the sky turns golden, you’ll arrive at Pico do Arieiro, one of the island’s highest peaks, to witness the dramatic sunrise above the clouds. From there, set off on a short guided walk to the renowned “Stairway to Heaven,” a trail that offers stunning mountain views and incredible photo opportunities. After soaking in the scenery, enjoy a well-deserved coffee stop at Poiso before continuing your journey. On the way back, visit Cristo Rei at Garajau, a striking seaside viewpoint where the statue overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. By 11:30 am you’ll be back at your hotel in Funchal, carrying with you unforgettable memories of Madeira’s natural beauty.
