This is an easy and pleasant walk where you have the chance to see, in between the cultivated terraces, the vineyard responsible for the production of the famous american wine. You will have the opportunity to see the famous Eagle Rock (Penha d’Águia).

Sergio was an excellent guide and provided interesting commentary. This levada path is relatively easy and flat but narrow as expected. Nonetheless, an amazing experience for those looking for a simple levada to start with.
Excellent walk, easy only because of distance travelled. Lovely views and flora. The guide Sergio was really knowledgeable and engaging, he added insight and interest making the tour value for money.
