A fantastic one-day cruise to Porto Santo Island located 75km northeast of Funchal, in the North Atlantic Ocean. Porto Santo is the second largest island of the Madeira archipelago (total area: 41 km2). It has an amazing extensive beach with 9 km of golden sand. It is said that here, time seems to run slower and all concerns disappear. As in Madeira, the warm Gulf Stream softens the climate, and the temperature of the seawater is very pleasant. Even when it rains in the summer the beach is still inviting. The trip from Madeira to Porto Santo was perfectly organized from beginning to end. Nelson picked us up from a town outside Funchal and dropped us off with the ferry tickets at the Porto Santo Line ship in Funchal. After a 2 1/2 hour ferry ride we arrived

A tour estava, no geral, bem organizada. A excursão foi muito completa e deu-nos uma boa visão da ilha. A única coisa que falhou foi não ter sido comunicada a informação correta sobre a hora de pick-up do transfer, o que causou algum transtorno ao grupo.
