On this half-day swim tour to Ponta de Sao Lourenço, uncover Madeira's hidden natural wonder. With its unspoiled scenery and complete lack of any human life, this nature reserve is a special destination to visit.

This tour starts from one of the best cliff landscapes in Madeira. On this tour, you'll explore the long, thin peninsula at the eastern end of the island. The paths are in good condition but a bit irregular.

After a 4km walk we will arrive at the destination, where you can dive at Cais do Sardinha, a place that preserves the name of the former owners of this land and where we will begin our beautiful swim through the warm, turquoise waters of this nature reserve.

At sea, you might be lucky enough to see the rarest seal in the world, known in Madeira as the monk seal (Monachus monachus). After a swimming session, we will have lunch in a typical place, with traditional food and a drink from Madeira.

Once everyone is energized again, we'll visit the area or do a second swim.

If you don't want to do the 4 km walk, we also have the option of getting to the swimming spot by boat (boat ticket not included).
