We start in Camacha, almost at the end of the Levada da Serra, one of the longest levadas of Madeira. Our tour offers many interesting and manifold sights. Our ride leads us to Monte and well into the city centre of Funchal. Past numerous historical monuments and beautiful gardens, we cycle through the old town and on towards Câmara de Lobos, one of the picturesque fishing villages of Madeira. Our ride back takes us along the waterfront promenade, towards Funchal and Caniço de Baixo. Here we have to tackle a last intense ascent.
