Departure from Funchal towards Miradouro do Miranda, above the Botanic Garden, where we make the 1st stop to see the view over the Funchal bay. We continue going up old paths and offroad until the Poiso and then to Pico do Arieiro (Alt.1810) where we make the second stop of approximately 20 minutes. We descend to Ribeiro Frio, where we make the 3rd stop and a walk to the Balcões, about 45 minutes on foot. Continue to the cross roads Lombo Galego, offroad, Cova da Roda, Pico das Pedras, now it is time to go down to Santana, where you can visit the typical houses and then for customers who want to have lunch, we go to Quinta do Furão. After lunch we go to the Porto da Cruz, to taste the rum ofthe sugar cane and poncha. We continue along Ponta de S. Lourenço were we made the last stop and return to Funchal.
