Departure from Funchal towards Santa Cruz where we make the 1st stop. Porto da Cruz, 2nd stop, and visit the sugar cane mill in this village ,Then in Santana to visit the typical houses. After Santana we leave the civilization and we go towards the Island by roads and secondary roads, where we find essentially agricultural landscapes and with Laurissilva forest to accompany us during most of our route. After Ilha, where reigns the Laurissilva where we make some stops in the middle of the forest and enjoy the landscapes. We pass Cabanas when we return to civilization and after 15 km off road we have lunch time in Arco de S. Jorge, where you can also make a short walk. Then we stop at Boaventura, Ponta Delgada S. Vicente and return to Funchal.
