Solar do Ribeirinho Museum Centre is located in Machico. This construction of the seventeenth century welcomes stories and characters that were part of the history of the municipality of Machico from the period of the Discoveries. The Solar do Ribeirinho Museum Centre of Machico is a cultural institution created after the Solar House recovery Ribeirinho, building dating from the seventeenth century. In this museum and can be found in an interactive way, stories and characters that built the current city of Machico, over more than 500 years of history, distributed across the four thematic groups on display. The space offers educational and educational resources, based on the new information technologies. The texts are presented in Portuguese and English.
