The PR7 Moinho Levada Walk (Mill levada) has 10.3 km, lasting 3:30 hours, runs the Levada do Moinho, where already there were several water mills from the Ribeira da Cruz in Porto Moniz to Tornadouro, in Ponta do Pargo .
The route of the Levada Mill starts on E.R.101 regional road, by the Ribeira da Cruz, which separates the municipality of Porto Moniz from Calheta.
The Levada do Moinho or Levada Grande, is well known for along your path there were several water mills along the route we can catch sight of some ruins of old mills.
It is noteworthy the bottom floor of some sections of the levada has been in order to waterproof areas where the water was lost.
The trail ends at Tornadouro in Junqueira where the levada splits.
