The Pico Alto Viewpoint is located in the Ribeira das Cales area, in the middle of the Funchal Ecological Park. This is one of the highest viewpoints in the municipality and is located at 1129 meters above sea level, between the parishes of Monte and Poiso. From this viewpoint we can observe Chão da Lagoa and the bay of Funchal.
