Manor-house of the Herédias

Manor-house of the Herédias is secular heritage building was the former home of the founder of the county, who was also the Viscount of Ribeira Brava, and is currently the headquarters of Municipal Council.
The Manor-house of the Herédias is located in the town centre next to the mother church and was the former home of the founder of the county, who was also the Viscount of Ribeira Brava, Francisco Correia Herédia.
Within this centuries-old building from the late eighteenth century and early nineteenth century, you can find a magnificent garden with a variety of natural specimens.
Since the 1980s, it has been established as the Municipal Council of Ribeira Brava and has been classified as a Monument of Municipal interest since 1994.
