The Fonte da Areia Viewpoint in Porto Santo is located on the north side of the island, near the cliffs that dominate the rocky coast. The large number of existing sand there, which attests to the geological antiquity of Porto Santo, was the reason that gave it its name. This viewpoint allows you to see the Ilhéu da Fonte de Areia, the cliff and the north coast of the island.
