The Faial Parish Church (Our Lady of the Nativity) is located in the parish of Faial, Santana. This new church was built in 1746. The old chapel dated 1531 was greatly due to the violence of the current, was replaced by a new church, built on the slope of the river, the same invocation of Our Lady of the Nativity, patron saint of the parish.
