The Monte Municipal Garden is located in the parish of Monte, in Funchal. Located at an altitude of 550 meters, it has an area of 26,000 m2 with several indigenous and exotic species and some centuries-old trees. In the center of the park there is a lake with a map of Madeira Island carved in stone.
