The route PR10 Furado Levada Walk begins in Ribeiro Frio Forest Park is 11 km and a duration of 5 hours through the laurel forest. It is one of the oldest public levadas taken. The walk ends with a descent to the Portela Viewpoint in the municipality of Machico.
